paterhn

paterhn is a Zurich-headquartered AI development studio founded in 2017 that acts as an external AI R&D function for enterprises. It builds production systems such as multi-agent architectures, custom models and agentic orchestration layers on the client's own cloud or on-premises infrastructure, and hands over the IP with no licence fees.

Work is structured as a two-to-three-week discovery sprint, a roadmap, an eight-to-twelve-week proof of value and then production and scale. Techniques include LLM reasoning with RAG, fine-tuning, graph neural networks, reinforcement learning, forecasting and computer vision. LinkedIn lists offices in Copenhagen and Vancouver and a team of around 100, with focus sectors in finance, regtech, manufacturing, supply chain and life sciences.
